Our Client, a dynamic and fast-growing global leader with headquarters in USA, is currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join their Corporate Finance team. Senior AccountantAs part of a dynamic finance team, you will play a key role in managing accounting processes for European legal entities, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and continuous process improvement in a fast-paced, international environment.

Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end accounting for European legal entities, with a focus on Poland and selected EU countries.

Ensure compliance with Polish accounting, VAT, and CIT regulations, while supporting statutory requirements in other European markets.

Prepare and review VAT and Corporate Income Tax returns.

Coordinate external accounting firms, tax advisors, and auditors across multiple countries.

Lead month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.

Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations.

Support statutory and group audits by preparing documentation and responding to audit requests.

Collaborate with Finance, Tax, and Treasury teams on cross-border accounting matters.

Identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, and increase efficiency. Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (ACCA or equivalent qualification is an advantage).

At least 7 years of accounting experience in a multi-entity and/or international environment.

Strong knowledge of Polish statutory accounting, VAT, and Corporate Income Tax regulations.

Familiarity with accounting requirements in at least one other European country (e.g. Germany, Netherlands, Denmark, or France).

Hands-on experience with month-end close, reconciliations, accruals, and intercompany accounting.

Experience working with external accounting providers and auditors.

Good knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.

Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Proactive, detail-oriented, and well-organized, with strong analytical and communication skills.

Interest in process improvement, automation, and AI solutions within Finance.
