Senior Accountant

Work collaboratively with US, Australia, U.

K, and Poland teams to accomplish month end close, cumulating with issuing Financial Reporting Package. Responsible for journal entries to record activity in assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenses by compiling and analyzing account information. Responsibilities

Account reconciliations

Account analysis, research and explain trends in account activity.

Compile financial statements Reporting to support management decision making.

Supervise external accounting service regarding document preparation and tax declaration

Manage successful completion of audits

Compile journal entries based on account analysis (Accruals, payroll, reserves, etc.)

Ensure compliance with GAAP and IFRS

Successful candidate will have strong understanding of IFRS, balance sheet, and income statement accounts. Knowledge and exposure to US GAAP preferable, but not required. Candidate should be able to compile reconciliations and account analysis once trained on retrieving source data. For example, successful candidate would be able to reconcile Accounts Receivable once shown the AR Aging report, Trial balance, and general ledger detail transactions report. Successful candidate should be able to research account discrepancies, explain what went wrong, and how to fix discrepancy in future.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance5+ years of post-graduate work experience
• Must be fluent in English and Polish
• Public accounting experience preferred, but not required
• Experience with global accounting preferred, but not required (United States, Europe, Australia)
