Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Scrum Master/Delivery manager for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Europe. Our client is a leading multinational company in the building materials industry, based in Germany. The company is a producer of building materials and construction systems, comprising construction materials for drywall construction, plasterboard, cement boards, mineral fiber acoustic boards, dry mortars with gypsum for internal plaster, and cement-based external plaster, as well as insulating materials such as glass wool, stone wool, and other insulation materials. They set the benchmark for gypsum-based products and systems, as well as energy-efficient insulation materials, in terms of market development and customer orientation. With 150 production facilities and sales organizations in over 86 countries, it is one of the big players in the market in Europe, the USA, South America, Asia, Africa, and Australia.
The role supports cross-functional engineering teams delivering across multiple product areas and data domains within a complex and evolving delivery environment. The Scrum Master will play a key role in scaled Agile execution, PI Planning and ART-level ceremonies, quality gate ownership, release coordination, risk and dependency management, and stakeholder alignment. This position requires a more advanced level of experience and capability than a standard Scrum Master role, with a strong focus on tactical delivery and supporting the organization’s transition towards a product-oriented IT model.
Requirements
SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) certification or an equivalent SAFe credential.3+ years of experience working as a Scrum Master in a platform, enablement, or data engineering environment.
Strong hands-on experience with SAFe, including PI Planning preparation and facilitation and ART-level ceremonies.
Proven ability to lead distributed and remote engineering teams across multiple time zones.
Experience ensuring adherence to Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD) in complex, multi-team environments.
Experience with release coordination, risk and dependency management, and cross-team communication.
Good understanding of the full product delivery lifecycle, from design through production and hypercare.
Strong stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to effectively bridge business and technical teams.
Will be a plus
Familiarity with data integration platforms, observability tooling, and CI/CD practices.
Experience with Jira workflow automation and process compliance tooling.
Background in organizations transitioning from project-based to product-based delivery.
Additional certifications such as PSM II, SPC, or RTE.
Responsibilities
Facilitate scaled Agile execution across cross-functional engineering teams, multiple product areas, and data domains.
Lead the preparation and facilitation of PI Planning and ART-level ceremonies.
Own and ensure adherence to quality gates, Definition of Ready (DoR), and Definition of Done (DoD).
Coordinate releases and manage risks and dependencies across teams.
Facilitate effective collaboration within distributed and remote engineering teams across multiple time zones.
Align stakeholders and bridge communication between business and technical teams.
Support tactical delivery across data and platform domains.
Report to the Release Manager within the Data & Cross Enablement department.
