SAP PS Senior Consultant

What you will do

We are looking for an experienced SAP PS Senior Consultant to join our international project delivery team. You will play a key role in implementing and optimising project-based business processes with a strong focus on the Record-to-Report (R2R) workstream — from project cost planning and revenue recognition through period-end closing and margin analysis.

THE WORK:

You will take ownership of the following core processes within the R2R workstream:

• Plan Project Costs (Cost Planning – CO).
• Plan Project Revenue (Revenue Planning – CO).
• Budget Planning, Release & Transfer (CO).
• Internal Activity Allocation (CO).
• Revenue Recognition / POC Method (PS).
• Results Analysis & WIP Calculation (CO).
• Overhead Calculation & Assessment (CO).
• Settlement to CO / FI / Assets / COPA.
• Margin Analysis (CO).
• Project Close & Post-Project Review (PS).

ADDITIONAL SCOPE & SUPPORTING PROCESSES

Beyond R2R, you will collaborate across workstreams on:

• Project Structuring – WBS elements, Networks, Activities, Milestones, Templates.
• Project Billing & Revenue – Sales Order assignment, customer invoicing, down-payment processing (PS / SD / FI).
• Project Monitoring – Cost/budget/variance reporting, progress confirmation, status management (TECO).
• Procurement Integration – Goods Receipts and Invoice Verification against WBS (in coordination with P2P team).

Flexible: The work location for this role may include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office - depending on specific project circumstances.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on SAP PS configuration and consulting experience.
• Deep expertise in Revenue Recognition (POC / Percentage of Completion method).
• Strong CO skills: cost planning, results analysis, WIP, settlement, COPA.
• Proven experience with Network / Activity management and project scheduling.
• Experience in period-end closing for project-based industries (engineering, construction, professional services, manufacturing).
• Ability to translate business requirements into SAP functional design.
• Fluent English; strong stakeholder communication skills.

ADVANTAGEOUS:

• Integration knowledge: SD (project billing), MM (procurement), FI (down payments).
• Exposure to S/4HANA and Fiori apps for project management.
• Experience with COPA and margin reporting in project environments.
• Prior involvement in greenfield or template-based SAP rollouts.
