We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to support SO& T’s strategic transformation. This role focuses on strengthening our digital logistics platform (VIP
SwhMB), improving system robustness, and enabling integration with new distribution centers.
Person will join a Stable Agile Team, working in sprints and contributing directly to the evolution of VIP
SwhMB global warehouse management systems on IBM iSeries.
Hybrid work: 1-2 days in the office (Wrocław)
Requirements:
Strong hands-on experience with:- RPG (ILE / Free format)- CL- SQL- DB2- REST- VS Code/RDI Tool- Turnover ToolNice to Have- Experience with Power BI- Knowledge of warehouse management or supply chain processes- Experience working in distributed/global teamsOther- Experience working in IBM iSeries / AS400 environments- Experience working in Agile ways of working (Scrum or similar)- Good English communication skills (spoken and written)- Based in or willing to work from Wroclaw (on-site collaboration required)
Responsibilities:- Develop and deploy warehouse applications on IBM iSeries (AS/400)- Ensure system stability, performance, and reliability- Design and implement new functionalities aligned with business needs- Support integration with operational processes - Collaborate within a stable Agile team, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and daily ceremonies- Work in iterative development cycles (sprints) to deliver continuous improvements- Contribute to platform modernization and technical enhancements- Help reduce deployment and operational risks for new distribution centers
