Record to Report Senior Accountant with English and German

Supervising and performance of complex activities with regards to general ledger accounting; Review of processes for optimization potential; Preparing annual financial statements and Management Reports; Functioning as a contact person for financial/ internal audits; Posting in ERP-System and Add-Ons; Execution of activities, in particular, in the following areas:, Perform general ledger accounting activities: posting manual journal entries, Perform close management, Manage period end procedures and perform intercompany reconciliation, Perform balance reclassification, Master data management and maintenance of general ledger accounts, Perform Asset Management, Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records; Ensure adherence to internal Accounting Policies, IFRS (if/ when needed), and local regulatory requirements; Maintain up-to-date Standard Operating Procedures and process documentation; Work closely with finance, sales, procurement and other teams to resolve discrepancies; Participate in transitions, migrations, and stabilization activities as needed.. Fluent in English and German; 5 to 7 years of experience in Accounting; Experience in RtR or General Ledger operations (or other linked finance areas), preferably in a shared services or multinational environment; Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems is an advantage; Attention to details and accuracy in processing transactions; Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team; Adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities; Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred; Other additional European language skills are an asset.
