R&D Financing Consultant

Key responsibilities

Write compelling grant proposals for programs including Ścieżka SMART, EIC Accelerator, EIC Pathfinder, Eurostars, LIFE, Innovation Fund etc.

Assess client needs, fundability and identify optimal funding opportunities

• Coordinate end-to-end proposal development, from ideation to submission and post-submission monitoring and grant agreement negotiations
• Develop project budgets, feasibility studies, and technical analyses and other financial and business documentation necessary to compile the best grant applications possible
• Carry out client interviews and workshops with the aim to collect all the necessary information required to complete a winning proposal
• Providing our clients with guidance and advice on strategic positioning of the proposal within the targeted callBe fluent and diligent in applying regulations and rules of the targeted calls under selected range of programmes
• Manage all the communication with clients and their partners to ensure smooth delivery and maximum client satisfaction
• Support clients during the proposal evaluation stage, incl. getting the clients ready for pitching to evaluation jury members
• Provide strategic advice and operational support in building project consortia by defining prospective partner profiles, identifying relevant candidates and assessing their eligibility
• Ensure maximum client satisfaction through understanding our client needs and expectations, providing relevant, timely and verified information about principles and rules governing targeted funding schemes as well as demonstrating excellence in professional communication.

Requirements

Proficiency in English (C1 level, spoken and written – will be verified)

Proven experience in preparing R& D grant proposals, ideally in CleanTech, Environment, Energy, Bio/Med Tech, ICT, Chemistry, Material Sciences

• Fluency in R& D grant application rules and procedures
• Excellent communication skills
• Well-organized, independent, responsible, and analytical mindset
• Resilience to working under pressure and ease in managing multiple deadlines
• Educational background in life sciences (e.g., biology, chemistry, biophysics, materials science), engineering, or economics/management is an advantage.
