Project Engineer (m/w/d)

Tasks

• Coordinate the design and development of mechanical systems (Cleanroom, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other building services) in compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Prepare tender documents, technical specifications, and cost estimates for mechanical works.
• Review and evaluate tender submissions, providing technical input during the bidding process.
• Collaborate with consultants, clients, and internal teams during design development and tendering stages.
• Oversee site execution of mechanical works, including installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with design, specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and solutions to site teams during project execution.
• Monitor project progress, budget, and schedule, reporting regularly to management.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers to ensure professional growth and high performance standard
• Accountable for the quality, safety, health and environmental management and performance at the workplace and project site;
• Undertake special assignments, ad hoc functions and related duties as assigned.

Profile

• 1 - 5 years experience in EPC project
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Familiar with MS Office application, AutoCAD
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design, tendering, and project execution in the construction industry
• Able to work independently under minimum supervision
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluent in German and English, other language is a plus
