The project is a portfolio management solution based on microservices. You will be focused on designing and developing new features and enhancements (this is a new development role, not legacy application support) within a team of professionals that includes asset managers, business analysts, and quantitative developers.
Position overviewWe are seeking a highly skilled .
NET Developer to design, build, and optimize microservice-based components for a large-scale investment management platform. In this role, you will work with complex domain logic, high-volume financial data, and modern distributed architectures. You will collaborate closely with quantitative teams and business stakeholders to transform financial models and requirements into robust, high-performance software solutions. This position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys domain-rich challenges, clean architecture, and high system reliability.
This position follows a working schedule of 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM UK time.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain microservices based applications using .
NET and ASP.
NET Core
- Implement new features and enhancements for the portfolio management platform
- Collaborate with asset managers, business analysts, and quantitative developers to understand business requirements and deliver technical solutions
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and service integrations
- Build scalable and reliable solutions for processing high volume financial and market data
- Participate in system design and architectural discussions and contribute to the evolution of the platform
- Implement messaging and event driven solutions using technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, or Amazon MQ
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and maintainability
- Write clean, well structured, and testable code following engineering best practices
- Conduct code reviews and support knowledge sharing within the team
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across distributed systems
- Work closely with cross functional teams throughout the software development lifecycleRequirements5+ years of experience developing commercial applications on the .

- Deep understanding of message brokers, with hands on experience with one of the following: Kafka or Rabbit
