Lead Pega System Architect

Responsibilities:

Provide architectural leadership, oversee technical direction, and support parallel delivery streams across enterprise projects.

Design, build, and maintain robust application components on the Pega platform.

Implement end-to-end case lifecycles, data models, business logic, user interfaces, and REST/SOAP integrations.

Ensure full adherence to Pega guardrails, platform design patterns, and engineering best practices.

Participate actively in solution architecture design, effort estimations, and backlog refinement sessions.

Conduct thorough code reviews and mentor junior and mid-level developers on the team.

Collaborate closely with Business Architects, QA engineers, and DevOps specialists to streamline delivery.

Skills:

Active Pega Certified Lead System Architect (LSA) or Senior System Architect (SSA) certification.7+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise Pega application design and development.

Deep practical knowledge of Pega 8.x, including case types, flows, Cosmos UI, rules management, and data pages.

Strong background in system integrations using REST, SOAP, and file-based interfaces.

Solid experience operating in Agile delivery environments and driving guardrail compliance.

Fluent English communication skills (B2+ level minimum).

Nice-to-Have:

Hands-on experience with Pega Constellation architecture and UI framework.

German language proficiency.
