WE ARE HIRING: LEAD MECHANICAL FITTER / MECHANICAL TEAM LEADER

MANDATORY ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT

Applicants must:

  • Be citizens of an EU country; OR
  • Already hold a valid work permit for the relevant project country, such as Malta or France.

A residence permit or work permit issued by another EU country does not automatically grant the right to work in Malta or France.

Global Recruitment Bridge (GRB) is seeking an experienced Lead Mechanical Fitter for long-term international projects with an established engineering company.

Locations: Malta, France and other European project sites

Salary: €30,000–€35,000 gross per year

Contract: Long-term employment

Accommodation assistance: Provided

Starting date: As soon as possible

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate a team of mechanical fitters
  • Perform mechanical fitting, installation and maintenance work
  • Organise daily tasks and monitor work progress
  • Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
  • Communicate with supervisors and other project teams

Candidate requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Lead Mechanical Fitter, Mechanical Team Leader or Senior Mechanical Fitter
  • Strong mechanical fitting and maintenance skills
  • Experience supervising or coordinating a technical team
  • Working knowledge of English
  • Valid driving licence
  • Ability to work on international projects
  • Citizenship of an EU country or a valid work permit for the relevant project country

Experience in the marine, shipyard, industrial, construction, port or engineering sectors will be considered an advantage.
