Dla naszego klienta z sektora finansowego poszukujemy Inżyniera Kafka, który dołączy do zespołu Data Platform i będzie odpowiedzialny za budowę oraz rozwój hybrydowego środowiska Kafka łączącego infrastrukturę on-premise z AWS. Będziesz odpowiadać za:projektowanie architektury Kafka on-prem ↔ AWS, wdrażanie Confluent Platform i Confluent Cloud, budowę środowisk opartych o AWS MSK / EKS, konfigurację MirrorMaker 2, Cluster Linking i Confluent Replicator, automatyzację infrastruktury z wykorzystaniem Terraform, tworzenie pipeline’ów CI/CD, monitoring i observability, bezpieczeństwo oraz tuning środowiska Kafka, tworzenie standardów operacyjnych, runbooków i alertów, wsparcie zespołu oraz mentoring.

Job description

For our client in the financial sector, we are looking for a Kafka Engineer to join the Data Platform team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and developing a hybrid Kafka environment that connects on-premise infrastructure with AWS. You will be responsible for:designing the Kafka on-prem ↔ AWS architecture, implementing Confluent Platform and Confluent Cloud, building environments based on AWS MSK / EKS, configuring MirrorMaker 2, Cluster Linking, and Confluent Replicator, automating infrastructure using Terraform, creating CI/CD pipelines, monitoring and observability, Kafka environment security and performance tuning, creating operational standards, runbooks, and alerts, supporting the team and providing mentoring.

• Experience required
• Key requirements:commercial experience with Apache Kafka, very good knowledge of Confluent Platform and Confluent Cloud, experience with Kafka cluster migration and replication, practical knowledge of AWS, experience with Terraform and CI/CD, ability to automate and script using Python, Bash, and/or Ansible, knowledge of security and observability, familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, Confluent Control Center, OpenTelemetry, or Elastic Stack, willingness to collaborate with Data Engineering, DevOps, and Security teams.
