For one of our clients, we are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Technical Lead to take technical ownership of a mature enterprise infrastructure and shape its future architecture, standards, and roadmap. This is a hands-on technical leadership role without formal people management, combining infrastructure architecture, operations, security, and mentoring. You will also play a key role in strengthening cybersecurity and regulatory readiness while modernizing and standardizing complex ICT and OT environments.

Responsibilities:

Take technical ownership of the IT infrastructure architecture, standards, technology decisions, and development roadmap

• Design, develop, migrate, and optimize virtualization environments based on VMware and Hyper-VMaintain and evolve highly available infrastructure and Disaster Recovery architecture across multiple locations
• Design and maintain clustering, replication, backup, and tested disaster recovery solutions
• Manage and improve enterprise networking and security solutions, including FortiGate, VLANs, segmentation, routing, SD-WAN, and VPN
• Drive the modernization and standardization of multiple ICT and OT network environments, including inventory, segmentation, monitoring, and security
• Contribute to cybersecurity and regulatory readiness initiatives, including NIS2/KSC-related risk management, vulnerability management, hardening, monitoring, incident response, and documentation
• Develop and maintain storage environments based on SAN/NAS technologies
• Automate recurring infrastructure operations and deployments using PowerShell, REST APIs, and Infrastructure as Code practices
• Maintain and improve monitoring and logging solutions across the infrastructure environment
• Provide technical leadership to the infrastructure team through mentoring, configuration reviews, knowledge sharing, and common technical standards
• Support the most complex infrastructure incidents as part of the third-line support function
• Lead infrastructure implementations end-to-end, from architecture and technology selection through deployment and transition into operations
• Collaborate with technology vendors, external partners, and internal business stakeholders
• Must-have requirements:

Minimum 5 years of senior-level experience in IT infrastructure, including proven architectural or solution design responsibilities

• Expert-level knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory, including GPO, DNS, DHCP, PKI/ADCS, and related enterprise services
• Expert-level hands-on experience with virtualization, particularly VMware vSphere / ESXi / vCenter and/or Hyper-VStrong experience designing and maintaining High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions, including clustering, replication, and tested recovery procedures
• Strong practical knowledge of enterprise networking and firewalls, including FortiGate, VLANs, network segmentation, routing, SD-WAN, and IPsec VPN
• Hands-on experience with enterprise backup solutions, particularly Veeam Backup & Replication
• Practical knowledge of SAN/NAS storage, including iSCSI, multipathing, LUNs, datastores, and capacity planning
• Strong cybersecurity awareness and practical experience with system hardening, vulnerability management, access management, and incident response
• Experience designing and implementing infrastructure solutions end-to-end rather than working exclusively in operational or support rolesHands-on technical mindset with the ability to independently troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues
• Ability to act as a technical authority, make architectural decisions, establish standards, and mentor other engineers
• Good English skills enabling effective work with technical documentation, vendors, and international stakeholders
• Nice to have:

Experience with OT environments, building automation systems, BMS, or securing and segmenting technical infrastructure networks

• Practical knowledge of NIS2, KSC, or ISO 27001, including implementation, audits, procedures, or compliance initiatives
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or DSC
• Experience with Microsoft Azure in hybrid infrastructure scenarios, including IaaS and integration between cloud and on-premise environments
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, or Teams
• Experience with monitoring and security tools such as Zabbix, Wazuh, or Forti
• Analyzer
• Experience with PowerShell, REST APIs, and infrastructure automation
• Experience with Microsoft RDS environments, including Session Hosts, RemoteApp, RD Gateway, or FS

• Experience in environments combining corporate IT with physical or technical infrastructure
• Relevant certifications such as VMware VCP, Fortinet FCP/NSE, Veeam VMCE, or Microsoft infrastructure/Azure certifications
