Your responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements and design technical concepts
  • Implement robust backend and frontend functionality using Java EE and Angular frameworks
  • Ensure high code quality through reviews and automated testing
  • Build and integrate development and integration tests
  • Apply classic and agile project management methodologies to deliver features according to user stories and performance requirements
  • Provide third-level support and assist with production issue resolution

Our requirements

  • Proven experience in Java software development, ideally with Java EE, EJB, JPA, Hibernate, Glassfish or similar technologies
  • Frontend development experience with Angular (version 7 or newer)
  • Experience with Oracle or PostgreSQL databases
  • Solid understanding of software architecture principles
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with clients and team members
  • Good command of English (B2 or better)

Optional

  • Familiarity with technologies such as Elasticsearch, Jenkins, Payara, Quarkus, or OpenShift Cloud
  • Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices
  • Understanding of web application security principles
  • Experience with Linux system administration
  • Prior success working in distributed or remote development teams
  • Knowledge of German (B1 or better)
