Devops Engineer

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) / DevOps to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in managing highly available, production-grade cloud and Kubernetes environments, advocating for SRE best practices, and building secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• SRE & Observability: Promote core SRE principles (monitoring, alerting, logging, tracing, SLOs, toil reduction, and runbooks). Design and implement comprehensive observability solutions using tools such as NewRelic, PagerDuty, orequivalent.
• Cloud & Kubernetes Management: Administer high-availability Kubernetes clusters (e.g., GKE, Kubespray) and cloud infrastructure across multiple environments/datacenters. Experience managing cloud resources and data services (e.g., CloudSQL, PubSub, AWS EMR).
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Provision and manage cloud and on-premise infrastructure using Terraform/Terragrunt.
• CI/CD & DevSecOps: Build, secure, and optimize automated CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions, Concourse, or BitBucket Pipelines.
• Data & Platform Engineering Support: Manage data-related platform technologies (e.g., Kafka, Airflow, Hadoop) and explore modern Kubernetes operators for cluster migrations and CD automation.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience as SRE or DevOps
• Container Orchestration: Strong, hands-on experience with Kubernetes (GKE, on-premise clusters) and cloud-native tools (ArgoCD, Istio, Helm).
• IaC & Automation: Proficient in Terraform / Terragrunt and automation tools such as Ansible or Salt.
• CI/CD Tools: Demonstrated expertise in setting up and optimizing pipelines (GitHub Actions, BitBucket, Concourse).
• Observability & Alerting: Experience configuring APM, metrics, logging, and incident management (NewRelic, PagerDuty, Prometheus/Grafana).
• Cloud & Data Ecosystem: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP and/or AWS) and data infrastructure tools (Kafka, Airflow).
• Communication: Excellent written and spoken English skills; strong collaboration capabilities to assist and mentor software development teams.
