Introduction & SummaryWe are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with expertise in web application hosting, infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipeline implementation, and performance optimization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of AWS services, Docker, and orchestration tools like Kubernetes or OpenShift. Proficiency in Typescript and Java will enhance the role further.

Main Responsibilities

Design and implement infrastructure as code using Terraform and AWS CDK.

Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.

Manage Docker deployments and orchestration with Kubernetes or OpenShift.

Oversee software releases and deployments while managing risks.

Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across applications and infrastructure.

Key Requirements

Strong experience with AWS ecosystem (VPC, EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, ECS/EKS, IAM, S3, CloudWatch).

Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and AWS CDK.

Strong CI/CD experience with Jenkins and GitHub Actions.

Experience with Jenkins Shared Libraries and Groovy scripting.

Strong containerization and orchestration experience using Docker and Kubernetes/EKS/OpenShift.

Experience managing application hosting, delivery, routing, caching and API Gateway configurations.

Experience in software release management and deployment automation.

Experience troubleshooting and optimizing application/infrastructure performance in AWS.

Nice to Have

Experience with AEM and JVM application optimization.

Knowledge of Open

Telemetry (traces, metrics, logs).

Experience with TypeScript and serverless development.

Knowledge of Java/Web application development processes.

Experience with ECS in addition to Kubernetes/EKS.
