Aerospace Software Engineer

As a Aerospace Software Engineer, you will help design, develop, and maintain mission-critical aviation systems used in the aerospace industry worldwide, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and reliability.

Key responsibilities

Write, review, and maintain high-quality, readable, and maintainable code using languages and tools such as Python, C++, and MATLAB/Simulink.

Support model-based design and simulation activities, including the development and review of Simulink/Stateflow models and auto-generated code.

Perform code reviews and support other engineers by sharing software development best practices.

Use Git for source control and work with CI/CD pipelines, following standard branching strategies and merge request workflows.

Work in container-based development environments (Docker) and collaborate with OS and DevOps teams.

Contribute to task estimation, sprint planning, and continuous improvement of software development processes.

Follow and contribute to aerospace software development standards and processes (e.g., DO-178C).

Ideal candidate profile

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
• Aviation Engineering education background2+ years of professional experience
• English proficiency (min.

Nice to have

Experience with DO-178C or other aerospace software standards

Familiarity with model-based development (MATLAB/Simulink)

Proficiency in Python

Experience in one other high-level modern programming language (C++, Java)

Experience in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)
