ProjectWe are looking for a Batch Scheduling Specialist to support the stability, availability and performance of enterprise IT services in a mainframe environment.

The role focuses on batch scheduling, infrastructure changes, service monitoring and incident management, with particular emphasis on IBM z/OS, JCL and IBM Workload Scheduler (IWS).

You will

• Maintain the operational stability, integrity and availability of supported IT services
• Ensure compliance with service management standards, operational controls and data quality requirements
• Support incident identification, troubleshooting and resolution in collaboration with the DevOps teamHelp ensure service resilience, sustainability and recovery time objectives
• Implement infrastructure changes while maintaining service quality and user experience
• Support infrastructure changes to meet performance, availability, security and resilience requirements
• Automate build, testing and deployment processes across environments to improve consistency and reliability
• Improve automation, continuous integration, system monitoring and maintenance processes
• Must have3+ years of experience Solid knowledge of JCL for IBM z/OS mainframe environments
• Good knowledge of IBM Workload Scheduler (IWS)

Basic knowledge of Horizon IWS Graph, BatchCP, BatchAD and XINFO

Understanding of incident and change management processes

Understanding of Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

Good written and spoken English

• Analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsNice to have
• Experience working with Jira and Confluence
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Experience in enterprise IT operations or mainframe environments
