Senior Java Developer

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join an exciting project in the Banking & Finance sector. Start date: 2026-09-07End date: 2027-03-07Location: Helsinki (Hybrid, min. 60% office presence) About the assignment:

You will join a newly created Scrum team developing innovative services and solutions within the Embedded Banking Service Domain, focusing on the Payments Service Area. This is a greenfield opportunity to build distributed, highly available, and high-throughput applications using modern microservices architecture. The assignment is expected to be prolonged beyond the initial period. Core Responsibilities:

• Develop new services and solutions for the Embedded Banking Service Domain
• Build and maintain microservices-based payment solutions
• Collaborate within a Scrum team to deliver high-quality software
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity Profile & Qualifications:
• Minimum 6 years of Java software development experience
• Experience building distributed, highly available, and high-throughput applications
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture
• Fluent in spoken and written English Key Requirements:
