For our client we are looking for candidates for the position of Strategic Buyer.

Job Tasks:

Lead the strategic procurement activities for specific material groups within the Cabin segment

• Define and implement sourcing and category strategies for the assigned commodity groups
• Ensure execution of the procurement strategy within current sourcing initiatives and tenders
• Coordinate and drive cross-brand collaboration within the Glass Commodity Analyze global supply markets and identify, evaluate and develop strategic suppliers
• Collaborate closely with Logistics and Sales functions to optimize tyre supply strategies and operational execution
• Manage RFQs, evaluate supplier quotations and perform commercial benchmarking
• Lead price, contract and commercial negotiations with suppliers to achieve best in class total cost performance
• Prepare management decision papers and sourcing recommendations for corporate committees
• Support procurement-related projects associated with truck cab components and systems
• Ensure material availability and proactively mitigate supply chain risks and potential shortages
• Negotiate engineering changes, cost impacts and commercial adjustments with serial production suppliers
• Ensure availability of components, production tooling and related supplier capacities
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and maintain procurement master data
• Develop and implement supplier and category strategies to secure long-term supply stability, competitiveness and innovation
• Requirements:

We are looking for someone with previous experience of procurement work; it is an advantage if you already have experience with plastics, rubber and/or electronics partsTo be successful in the role, you need to be results-oriented, analytical and have the ability to run several assignments in parallel in a structured way

• You have a degree in industrial engineering, business administration or other relevant academic degree
• You have the ability to work long-term and proactively, to be able to improve and streamline our operations and to be able to support colleagues in the best possible way
• You enjoy taking initiative, working independently and developing the role you are inOccasionally going beyond your area of responsibility to achieve long-term and sustainable results is not something you shy away fromAs a person, you are positive and contribute to good team spirit in the groups you work in, even if the pace of work is sometimes highAs the role involves a large international network and some travel, an advanced level of English, both in writing and verbally, is mandatory, and good knowledge of Polish, German or Swedish is an advantageA driver's license for car
