About the project
You'll join a team we're building for one of our clients - a European leader in shared micro-mobility, operating hundreds of thousands of shared vehicles across hundreds of cities in Europe and the Middle East, with an app used by millions of riders who've taken hundreds of millions of trips together. Their mission is simple: make urban mobility more sustainable by getting people out of cars and onto shared e-scooters and e-bikes.
Miquido is building out the mobile engineering capacity for this project, and we're looking for an iOS Developer to help take it further.
About the role
You'll work within a cross-functional product team (engineers, designers, product managers) that owns real outcomes and collaborates closely day to day. You'll be contributing to the rider-facing iOS app that people rely on to unlock, ride, and pay for their trips - so reliability and a smooth user experience really matter here.
What you'll doDesign, build, and maintain features of the client's iOS rider app, working closely with backend, product, and design.
Write clean, testable, maintainable Swift code and contribute to the app's architecture.
Take part in the full software development lifecycle - from technical design through to release and monitoring in production.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, communicate progress, and help the team continuously improve how it works.
What we're looking forStrong hands-on experience with Swift and UIKit.
Solid understanding of MVVM and experience applying it in production apps.
Practical experience with RxSwift.
A track record of building and shipping production-grade, distributed or client-facing mobile applications.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, communicative way of working with a team.
The engagement
This role starts as a B2B contract for approximately 6 months, working on this client's project as part of the Miquido team. We're planning for this to be a longer-term collaboration beyond the initial period, and if both you and the client are happy with how things are going, there's a real option to transition into the client's own team going forward.
Why Miquido
Work on a product used by millions of people every day, with real, visible impact.
Join a team of engineers who care about craft, ownership, and doing things properly.
Flexible, remote ways of working, The chance to build a long-term relationship with an international client - not just a short gig.
