What you will do
We are seeking a skilled Developer to join our agile squad within the financial industry, specifically focusing on Market Risk analytics. - Investigate valuation discrepancies across market data sources and collaborate with upstream systems, including Murex, to resolve inconsistencies.
- Optimize pricing algorithms and improve system performance within the HUB component.
- Develop, maintain, and deploy Oracle SQL packages using GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform database analysis, data validation, and production support using Oracle SQL Developer.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and development teams to deliver reliable Market Risk solutions.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation for legacy systems, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines.
Requirements
MUST
Strong knowledge of Java and C++.
Knowledge of Git and version control workflows.
Basic knowledge of Oracle SQL and experience using SQL Developer for data validation and troubleshooting.
Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and secure coding practices.
Ability to analyze existing code and understand complex business logic.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts; experience with GitHub Actions is a plus.
Ability to work with technical documentation and legacy system documentation.
Good understanding of logical operations and algorithmic thinking.
