Senior Software Engineer (Rust)

We are looking for a Software Engineer (Rust) to join a fast-growing international crypto company. You will design and build core services, including APIs, data models, and integrations, while making key architectural and technical decisions that will shape the product.

Requirements5+ years of professional software development experience

• Hands-on experience building and operating production systems in Rust
• Daily practical use of AI coding tools, with the judgment to verify and override their output
• Experience designing REST APIs at scale, including contracts and versioning strategy
• Production experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
• Experience building and hardening container deployments and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience mentoring engineers or leading technical initiativesA degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• Excellent English communication skills, written and verbalNice to HaveA background in fintech or payment systems, such as SEPA, SWIFT, ACH, or card issuing
• Experience in regulated environments, such as PSD2, KYC/AML, or PCI DSS
• Exposure to crypto custody, on-chain settlement, or stablecoin flowsSolid blockchain fundamentals, such as ERC20, RPC nodes, and UTXO vs account models
• Experience with monitoring and analytics tooling such as Sentry or New Relic
• Responsibilities
• Design and build core backend services: APIs, data models, and integrations
• Make architectural decisions on a codebase being built from scratch
• Take ownership of major product areas from design through production
• Take part in on-call and incident response for the systems you ownWork with AI coding tools daily, and build the tests and checks that keep their output reliable
• Work directly with product and design to shape requirements
• Review code and mentor engineers, raising the bar on testing, instrumentation, and code quality
