🛡 The project

You'll be part of a Wrocław-based team at a leading global financial institution, delivering a new in-house communications surveillance platform from scratch.

The platform takes in unstructured data, runs model-driven alerting, and provides a review interface for analysts to investigate and resolve alerts. Delivery happens in small, self-organising agile pods with real ownership of architecture and code.

🚀 What you'll do

Build cloud-native solutions on Azure, for both greenfield projects and existing applications
Make smart technical choices: adopt new technologies where they add value, reuse strategic platforms and standards, and keep decisions sustainable
Ship quality: secure, reliable, compliant software that meets functional and non-functional requirements
Engineer with AI: use GitHub Copilot, agents and reusable skills across delivery, with strong quality, security and human oversight
Lead by example: introduce new engineering practices and help grow capability across the product teams
Be part of the community: share knowledge, take part in hiring and shape the engineering culture

✅ What you bring

6+ years of experience and a Bachelor's degree
Strong Python, with solid relational database skills, ideally PostgreSQL
Hands-on DevOps and CI/CD, ideally GitLab pipelines
Azure cloud experience, including:
Azure Functions or similar serverless, event-driven platforms (triggers, bindings, scaling)
Azure Service Bus or similar messaging (queues, topics, publish/subscribe, error handling)
Data-flow engineering across ingestion, transformation and orchestration; Azure Data Factory or similar
A genuine drive to solve complex problems and deliver maintainable, production-grade code
Good English for daily collaboration
