Senior Java Developer - Platform & Performance

DataWalk is the Data and Analytics Platform with an Enterprise Knowledge Graph. We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our Platform & Performance Team.

The position will play a significant role in architecting, designing, developing and delivering high-performance Java-based software solutions that underpin our platform's stability, scalability, and efficiency. Responsibilities:

Design and implement core components of the DataWalk platform.

Identify, recommend, design and implement non-functional and performance improvements.

Evaluate new technologies and their application to the business.

Work with team members and AI tools to conduct root cause analysis of issues, review code and/or design proper testing mechanisms.

Support back-end engineering efficiency initiatives. Requirements:8+ years of experience, preferably in a product company.

Fluent in Java, Spring, JDBC, SQL, Mockito, JUnit/TestNG.

Good knowledge of SQL databases (preferably columnar database), basic knowledge of noSQL solutions.

Hands-on experience with AI coding tools and agents, with the judgment to responsibly enhance productivity and platform capabilities without compromising security, reliability, or maintainability.

Experience in working with RESTful web services.

Exposure to AWS, OCI, Kubernetes.

Familiar with Redis, ActiveMQ Artemis (JMS), Docker.

A self-starter and able to work well with others in a fast-paced agile environment with an emphasis on collaboration.

Fluency in English and Polish. Nice to have:

Knowledge of / experience in graph analytics.

Experience with TypeScript and Angular.

Exposure to building AI workflows. Technical tools and stack:
