Optiveum is currently looking for a Senior DevSecOps Engineer on behalf of one of our partners. You will join their AppSec Platform team to build and enhance internal tools, automations, and security capabilities that enable secure software development across the organization. You will combine strong technical expertise in DevSecOps with the ability to support agile delivery and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain security automations, tools, and templates.

Improve and secure CI/CD pipelines with a security-first approach.

Implement DevSecOps practices (SAST, DAST, secrets management, vulnerability management).

Integrate security controls into development workflows and platforms.

Support cloud and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives.

Define technical standards, documentation, and best practices.

Agile & Collaboration

Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives).

Support PI Planning and delivery processes while helping to remove blockers.

Coach teams on Agile principles and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Senior-level experience in DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, or Application Security.

CI/CD Expertise: Hands-on experience with tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.

Scripting Skills: Proficiency in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar.

Security Knowledge: Solid understanding of secure SDLC and AppSec practices (OWASP, SAST, DAST).

Cloud & Infrastructure: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and familiarity with IaC.

Language: Fluent English (B2/C1 minimum) for daily communication.

Nice to Have

Experience with Kubernetes and container security.

Knowledge of internal developer platforms.

Experience with compliance automation and security tooling.

Active Scrum certification (CSM, PSM).
