Senior Data Solution Analyst (Banking)

Responsibilities:

Elicit functional and non-functional requirements in collaboration with multiple stakeholders

• Analyze business needs to understand underlying objectives and purpose
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to clarify and translate requirements into implementation specifications
• Communicate requirements and objectives effectively across diverse stakeholder groups
• Perform data mapping, data modeling, and solution design
• Contribute to application architecture, maintainability, and solution design
• Design near real-time data pipelines
• Analyze data to identify issues, assess implications, and recommend solutions
• Collaborate with developers and test engineers throughout delivery processes
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across different business areasOwn requirements documentation, including use cases, and drive quality improvements
• Access and analyze complex distributed datasets using statistical methods
• Promote analytical best practices, challenge existing approaches, and influence colleagues toward improved ways of working Requirements:

Proven experience in designing data-intensive solutions

• Hands-on experience in the banking industry
• Strong understanding of requirements elicitation techniques and business analysis
• Expertise in translating business requirements into functional and non-functional specifications
• Practical experience with AI solutions, including Copilot, LLMs, and agentic solutions
• Excellent SQL skills, including Snowflake and MSSQL
• Experience with Snowflake and dbtStrong written and spoken English communication skills
• Experience working with international stakeholders and multicultural teams
• Understanding of domain-driven design, event-sourcing architecture patterns, microservices architecture, and clean code practices
• Experience delivering scalable data products
