Senior Data Engineer

Location: Wroclaw, Poland (2 days from the office, 3 days remote)

Senior Data EngineerWe are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join the SML Warehouse Management Stable Team in a key replacement assignment. In this role, you will work within a global team of experienced professionals, building and enhancing modern data solutions that support strategic warehouse management and supply chain initiatives.

You will leverage cutting-edge technologies including Databricks, PySpark, SQL, and streaming platforms to design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions in a collaborative international environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks and PySpark.

Build and optimize batch and streaming data processing solutions.

Create and manage workflows to ensure reliable and efficient data operations.

Work with Unity Catalog to support data governance and data management initiatives.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.

Support warehouse management and supply chain data initiatives across global operations.

Contribute to continuous improvement of data platforms, performance, and best practices.

Requirements

Strong commercial experience as a Data Engineer (Min. 5 years of experience).

Hands-on experience with Databricks.

Strong knowledge of PySpark and SQL.

Experience with batch processing and streaming technologies.

Experience designing and maintaining data workflows.

Knowledge of Unity Catalog.

Understanding of DataOps / DevOps practices within data platforms.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Fluent English.

Nice to Have

Experience with SQL Server.

Experience in warehouse management, logistics, or supply chain domains.

Experience working in large-scale international environments.
