Senior Data Analyst

Client Overview:

A premier global online gambling and entertainment enterprise specializing in sports betting, interactive casino gaming, and proprietary technology solutions.

Project Overview:

The data team is focusing on optimizing backend data pipelines, enhancing reporting architecture, and preparing the infrastructure for a future migration to modern transformation frameworks (dbt).

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our engineering and analytics team. This role centers on robust data modeling, robust ETL pipeline orchestration, and backend dashboard management. The ideal candidate will combine deep SQL expertise with solid pipeline engineering experience to maintain and modernize our analytical data ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

Design, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries and data transformation workflows.

Manage and orchestrate reliable ETL pipelines using Apache Airflow.

Maintain, update, and manage the backend data plumbing and workbook integrations within Tableau.

Collaborate with data engineering and business stakeholders to ensure high data availability, integrity, and performance.

Participate in architectural planning for future data stack migrations.

Requirements:5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Data/Analytics Engineer managing end-to-end data workflows.

Advanced proficiency in SQL for complex analytical querying and data manipulation.

Strong hands-on experience building and maintaining Airflow-driven ETL pipelines.

Functional experience with Tableau, specifically around backend configuration, workbook modification, and data source connection.

Nice to Have:

Hands-on experience with dbt (data build tool) or strong knowledge of modern data transformation frameworks.

Experience in the online gaming, sports betting, or high-volume transactional tech sector.
