Quality Assurance Engineer

Location: Wrocław and Hybrid, and work with internal and external clients, US-basedWe build remote patient monitoring, medication adherence, patient support, and patient engagement solutions – software that is part of regulated medical devices. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you ensure that what we ship meets its requirements and is safe for the patients who depend on it.

You will spend most of your time on requirements-based functional testing of web, mobile, and embedded medical software. Beyond functional testing, you may also work on test automation — Java (frontend and backend), Appium and Flutter on mobile, and Python on embedded systems. How much of this you do depends on the project you join; these skills are valuable across our portfolio, and we will help you build them.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyse requirements, specifications, and risk analyses, and design test cases that trace back to them.

Execute and maintain functional test suites for web, mobile, and embedded medical software.

Write and update test specifications, protocols, and reports that stand up to audits and regulatory review.

Report, reproduce, and track defects, and verify fixes.

Work with developers, business analysts, dev-ops, and external QA teams to agree on acceptance criteria and resolve unclear or conflicting requirements early.

Requirements:3+ years of experience in software quality assurance.

Solid practice in designing, executing, and maintaining functional tests derived from written requirements and specifications.

Ability to read a specification critically – spotting gaps, ambiguity, and contradictions before they reach code.

Comfortable with Jira and a test management tool (Xray, Zephyr, TestRail, or similar).

Very good spoken and written English (B2+) – you will work with international teams and clients.

Attention to detail, structured thinking, and clear written communication.

Genuine willingness to learn programming (Java/Python) and test automation – we will support you, and we expect you to use that support.

Experience in any of the following areas is a distinct advantage:

Experience testing medical devices or other regulated / safety-critical software (IEC 62304, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, MDR, FDA 21 CFR Part 11).

Experience testing medical devices or other regulated / safety-critical software (IEC 62304, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, MDR, 21 CFR Part 820 (QSR/QMSR).

Testing mobile applications (iOS / Android).

REST API testing (Postman/Bruno, Rest

Assured).

Basic scripting or programming in Java and/or Python.

Familiarity with the Linux command line

Familiarity with Bluetooth / BLE device communication.

Interest in applying AI tools in QA work.

Exposure to CI/CD (Azure DevOps Pipelines).
