At Kyotu Technology, we collaborate with clients on web applications, enterprise platforms, SaaS products, and complex software systems across different industries.

We are looking for someone who combines strong test automation skills with a solid understanding of software quality processes and a proactive approach to improving testing practices.

The ideal candidate can independently develop and maintain automated testing solutions for web applications and APIs, contribute to testing strategies, and communicate confidently with international stakeholders in German and English.💡 Who we are

• Isdevelop and maintain test strategies, test plans, and regression test suitesperform functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testingintegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelinesidentify, document, and track defects in cooperation with development teamssupport release testing, assess quality risks, and provide recommendations on release readinessanalyze requirements and identify potential quality issues early in the development processimprove test coverage, automation efficiency, and overall QA practicescollaborate closely with developers, product teams, and international stakeholderscommunicate testing progress, findings, and risks in German and English🧩 Must havesminimum 5 years of commercial experience in software QAstrong hands-on experience in test automation, including designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworkspractical experience with web UI test automation using tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Seleniumexperience with API testing and automation using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or pytestability to design and maintain test strategies, test plans, and regression test suitesexperience with manual, functional, integration, and exploratory testingexperience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelinesgood understanding of software development processes, testing methodologies, and QA best practicesexperience with Git and issue-tracking tools such as Jiraability to independently organize testing activities, identify risks, and recommend improvementsstrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsexperience collaborating with international clients or distributed engineering teams
• German at B2+ level, including confidence in technical discussions and meetings
• English at B2+ level✨ Nice to haveexperience testing mobile applications on iOS and Androidknowledge of mobile test automation tools such as Appium, XCUI
• Test, or Espressoprogramming skills in Python, Java, JavaScript, or Type
• Scriptexperience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, k6, or Locustexperience testing microservices and distributed systemsfamiliarity with Docker and cloud environmentsexperience testing complex enterprise or SaaS platformspractical experience using AI-assisted development and testing tools, such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Chat
