About the project

Your responsibilities

• Own product quality and contribute to go/no-go release decisions.
• Design and maintain E2E, API, and integration tests using JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Build and improve automated test coverage, with a strong focus on API and service-level testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Use AI tools to generate and maintain tests while critically reviewing their quality and value.
• Create reliable test infrastructure, including test data, fixtures, and contract tests.
• Perform manual and exploratory testing where automation is not the best solution.
• Work closely with developers and product teams to turn requirements into testable scenarios.
• Investigate production issues using logging and observability tools and feed findings back into the test suite.

Our requirements

• 3+ years of experience in test automation with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright or Cypress.
• Experience with API testing (Postman or equivalent).
• Experience with CI/CD.
• Good understanding of web applications and networking, including CORS.
• Experience working with databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, or DynamoDB.
• Experience with AWS, logging, debugging, and observability.
• Practical experience using AI tools for development and test automation.
• Ability to assess quality risks and confidently make release decisions.
• English: C1+

Optional

• Experience with contract testing.
• Experience building or improving test frameworks.
• Knowledge of New Relic, AWS CloudWatch, structured logging, or tracing.
• Experience working in small, autonomous product teams.
