As a Manual QA Tester – Agile and API Focus, you will be working for our client, a global leader in cybersecurity, dedicated to safeguarding digital assets and enabling secure digital transformation. You will collaborate within an agile, DevSecOps environment at HSBC's Global Cybersecurity (CSAT) function, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software that meets security and performance standards. Your main responsibilities:

Manage backlogs and define new requests with product owners, including creating clear and testable acceptance criteria.

Drive testing phases and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery.

Develop and maintain manual test artifacts, metrics, and environments aligned with project objectives.

Participate in the creation of test strategies and plans covering application components.

Provide detailed test scenarios supporting automation and performance testing initiatives.

Analyze application logs to identify exceptions, perform initial triage, and report bugs.

Collaborate with teams to achieve consensus and progress on testing deliverables.

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Manual Tester within an agile software development environment.

Strong knowledge of Software Testing theory and experience in testing Web applications and REST APIs.

Proven ability to design and execute regression, performance, and functional tests.

Experience defining Agile delivery artifacts such as epics, stories, and tasks.

Excellent communication skills, capable of managing workshops independently.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Agile/DevSecOps tools (JIRA, Confluence, GIT).

Fluent English (spoken, read, written).

Experience working with Cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).

Knowledge of API development, REST/HTTP protocols, and application logs for triaging.

Familiarity with testing tools like QTest, Tricentis, Zephyr, and governance, risk & compliance processes.

It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

Experience delivering process flow diagrams and process improvements.

Knowledge of vulnerability and application security scanning tools (SAST, MAST, DAST).

ISTQB certification, UML diagram experience, or performance testing expertise.

SQL skills for backend validation.
