Linux Engineer – GCE Migration & Automation📍 Location: Warsaw🏢 Work model: Hybrid – 3 days per week from the office💼 Seniority: SeniorWe are looking for an experienced Linux Engineer to join an innovative technology team working on Linux infrastructure, cloud migration and platform automation.

The role combines strong Red Hat Linux engineering expertise with GCE migration, VMware, Ansible, Red Hat Satellite and scripting. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of the platform through modern DevOps practices and automation.🔹 Your responsibilities

Support and execute migration from VMware environments to Google Compute Engine (GCE).

Design and implement infrastructure automation using CI/CD technologies and processes.

Manage and automate Linux patching using Red Hat Satellite.

Develop automation and operational solutions using Ansible, Bash and Python/Perl.

Provide advanced Linux system administration and troubleshooting.

Investigate and resolve complex infrastructure and platform issues.

Explore opportunities to integrate AI technologies and self-healing capabilities into the platform.

Create technical documentation for automation processes and operational procedures.

Cooperate with engineering teams within a SAFe/Scrum environment.🔹 What we are looking for

Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8+.

Practical experience with GCE and migrations from VMware to GCE.

Strong knowledge of Red Hat Satellite, including patch management and automation.

Extensive experience with Ansible and configuration management.

Very good Bash scripting skills.

Experience with Python and/or Perl.

Good understanding of CI/CD and automation practices.

Experience with Git and Jira.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.🔹 Additional technical knowledge
