For one of our clients, we are currently looking for a Linux Engineer.📍 Location: Warsaw🏢 Work model: Hybrid – 3 days per week from the office🔧 What will you be responsible for?
Developing and maintaining automation solutions based on CI/CD practices and technologies
- Supporting the development of self-healing platform capabilities, including the exploration and implementation of AI-based solutions
- Designing and maintaining clear technical documentation covering automation processes, procedures, and operational guidelines
- Working closely with engineers, architects, and other technical teams within a SAFe/Scrum environment
- Providing advanced-level Linux administration and troubleshooting
- Investigating complex infrastructure issues and implementing effective, long-term solutions
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and introducing innovative technical approaches💻 What are we looking for?
Essential technical experience:
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Engine (GCE), including VMware-to-GCE migrations
- Practical knowledge of Red Hat Satellite, particularly in patch management and automation
- Strong Bash scripting skills and experience with dynamic programming languages such as Python or PerlSolid knowledge of Ansible and configuration management practices
- Extensive experience working with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 or newerGood command of development and collaboration tools, including Git and JiraStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues independently
- Nice to have:
Experience with VMware virtualization
- Knowledge of network administration and configuration
- Familiarity with Windows/Linux system integration🎓 Certifications & methodology
- RHCSA certification is welcome; alternatively, extensive practical experience with Red Hat environments will be considered
- Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8+Previous experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is required
