Legal Tech Platform Engineer (ONIT / ELM Specialist)

Responsibilities:

• Manage, and resolve ONIT platform issues (incidents, service requests, and change requests) using ticketing systems like ServiceNow or Jira, adhering strictly to SLA frameworks.
• Partner with Legal Operations, IT teams, and external vendor support to drive timely resolutions and continuous system improvements.
• Configure and maintain core ONIT modules, including matter management, spend management (eBilling), and vendor/outside counsel workflows.
• Design and implement custom ONIT platform configurations, workflows, and tailored solutions aligned with Legal business requirements, leading technical design sessions to translate business needs into scalable solutions.
• Develop and maintain robust integrations connecting ONIT with core enterprise systems (ERP, CLM, finance tools) using APIs and middleware.

Skills:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting and configuring enterprise Legal Tech platforms (ONIT, Team

Connect, Legal Tracker, or similar ELM tools).

• In-depth understanding of Legal Ops processes, including matter management, eBilling/outside counsel spend, and contract lifecycle management (CLM).
• Proven ability to build and maintain system integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and enterprise middleware tools.
• Hands-on experience working with ticketing systems (Jira, ServiceNow) within structured, SLA-driven support models.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong ability to bridge technical IT teams and non-technical Legal and Finance stakeholders.
