Integration Engineer (Full-Stack)

About the companyWe are recruiting on behalf of a US-based technology company transforming how real estate professionals run their businesses. Its platform brings together CRM, marketing, communication and business workflows in one product used by real estate teams in the US.

This is a high-impact backend role for an engineer who enjoys working with large datasets, complex APIs and production systems at scale. You will have genuine ownership of features, from technical planning through to production, while working closely with a distributed US engineering team.

About the roleWe are looking for a mid-level Integration Engineer focused on building and maintaining integrations with third-party platforms. Most of the work will involve APIs, backend development, data transformation and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain third-party API integrations
• Work with REST APIs, OAuth, API keys and webhooksMap and transform data between systems
• Develop backend features with Node.js, TypeScript and Postgre
• SQL
• Contribute to React features when required
• Troubleshoot integration issues and improve reliability
• Work with Product and Engineering teams and external partners
• Manage multiple integration projects independently
• Requirements
• Hands-on experience with APIs and third-party integrations
• Strong software engineering fundamentals
• Understanding of authentication, databases and data models
• Backend or full-stack development experience
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and understand existing codebases
• Fluent English and strong communication skills
• Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL and React is a plus, but expertise in every technology is not required.

Additional details

The role is approximately 70–80% backend and integration work and 20–30% frontend/application work.

AI tools are actively used in development. You may use them extensively, but you must be able to understand, validate and debug the code they produce.

The schedule is flexible, with sufficient overlap with U.

S. Central Time required.

The interview process will focus on communication, engineering fundamentals, API experience and independent problem-solving. A practical API integration task may be included.
