What we are looking for:

Strong hands-on Databricks experience is mandatory, with expertise in designing and implementing enterprise-scale data engineering solutions. Strong experience in Databricks architecture, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Workflows/Jobs, performance optimisation, and data governance. Ability to assess existing implementations and proactively propose Databricks-based solutions, improvements, accelerators, and best practices. Provide technical recommendations around Databricks architecture, performance, scalability, cost optimisation, security, and governance. Strong understanding of Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, ETL/ELT concepts, SQL, databases, and data modelling. Ability to perform technical design and solution discussions with customer architects, engineering teams, and business stakeholders. Expected to demonstrate technical thought leadership, challenge existing approaches where required, and recommend better solutions rather than only implementing provided requirements. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Experience working directly with customers and senior stakeholders. Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure delivery environment, managing priorities while maintaining engineering quality.
