Data Analysis Project Manager

We are specifically looking for a senior candidate who bridges the gap between technical data analysis (Python, Cloud platforms) and firm project governance. This person will act as our quality gatekeeper, managing and validating our Definition of Ready (DoR) criteria with the technical delivery team before the platform goes live.

The Computational Science Centre of Excellence (CS CoE) is undergoing a major migration toa newly built data platform (OneDBM). To ensure a seamless transition and safeguardoperational quality before the platform goes live, we have established a strict set of Definitionof Ready (DoR) criteria.

We are seeking a Data Analysis Project Manager to act as the primary quality gatekeeperduring this critical migration phase.

The Operating Framework:

The scientific and business stakeholders define the data analysis requirements and assessmentmethods, while the platform delivery team executes the testing. The incoming Project Managerwill sit at the center of this process—reviewing the test outputs, validating readiness against theDoR, and ensuring the platform meets all quality standards prior to handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee Readiness Execution: Manage and govern the DoR testing cycle, specificallyfocusing on the platform's data analysis capabilities.
• Evaluate & Validate: Collect test outputs from the platform delivery team, evaluatewhether the results genuinely meet the agreed-upon DoR criteria, and filter them beforepassing complex issues to internal Data Analysis Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
• Track Progress: Maintain clear visibility on testing execution, success rates, andoutstanding readiness gaps.
• Bridge Communication: Act as the central liaison between the platform delivery teamand internal scientific stakeholders to clarify testing requirements and resolve technicalblockers.
• Quality Representation: Act as the formal representative for platform quality in allreadiness meetings, ensuring business requirements are strictly met.

Candidate Profile & Requirements

• Seniority: Strong Mid-Level or Senior. The candidate must possess the professionalmaturity, confidence, and assertiveness to uphold strict quality standards during afast-paced delivery cycle.
• Technical Literacy: Strong foundation in Python and Cloud platforms to effectivelyunderstand, evaluate, and challenge the analytical test outputs provided by the technicalexecution team.
• Project Management & Governance: Organized and process-driven, capable oftracking multiple DoR criteria, test statuses, and follow-ups systematically. Ability tomanage conflicting priorities effectively.
• Stakeholder Management: Strong communication skills (e.g., clear communication withtechnical and non-technical stakeholders to explain DoR impacts and timelines).
