📍 Remote (occasional office days in Kraków)📄 B2B Contract💰 Up to 200 PLN/h🌍 International EnvironmentWe are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Operations Engineer to join a global technology team responsible for maintaining and supporting enterprise cloud and on-premise environments.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working close to production infrastructure and has hands-on experience with cloud platforms, virtualization, operating systems, monitoring, security, and operational excellence.

You will become part of a globally distributed team ensuring the stability, availability, security, and resilience of critical infrastructure supporting business operations worldwide.

Your responsibilities

• Administer and support cloud environments based on Azure and AWS
• Maintain virtualization platforms and selected on-premise infrastructure components
• Support and troubleshoot Windows and Linux systems
• Execute OS lifecycle activities including patching, hardening, and vulnerability remediation
• Manage backup and recovery processes and contribute to disaster recovery readiness
• Support infrastructure security components such as WAFs, cloud firewalls, and load balancers
• Operate and maintain containerized environments based on Docker and Kubernetes
• Monitor infrastructure, investigate alerts, and proactively resolve issues
• Participate in incident management, major incident handling, root cause analysis, and follow-up actions
• Implement infrastructure changes with risk assessment, rollback planning, and validation procedures
• Collaborate closely with cloud engineering, security, observability, and service management teams
• Contribute to infrastructure modernization, migrations, automation initiatives, and global rollouts
• Maintain technical documentation and CMDB records
• Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure Operations, Cloud Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, or a similar role
• Hands-on experience with Azure and AWS
• Strong knowledge of VMware, virtualization technologies, and on-premise infrastructure
• Good understanding of Windows and Linux administration
• Experience with backup and recovery solutions, disaster recovery processes, and infrastructure lifecycle management
• Operational experience with Docker and Kubernetes environments
• Scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools
• Understanding of networking and infrastructure security concepts, including firewalls, WAFs, and load balancers
• Experience working with monitoring, alerting, and operational tooling in enterprise environments
• Proven experience supporting production systems, handling incidents, changes, RCA activities, and technical documentation
• English at minimum B2 levelNice to have
• Azure, AWS, VMware, Terraform, or Kubernetes certifications
• Experience in global or follow-the-sun support models
• ServiceNow, ITIL, CMDB, and Change Management experience
• Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and platform standardization initiatives
• Background in large-scale enterprise environments
