ResponsibilitiesAs Business Unit Manager, you shape a brand-new chapter of our Identity and Access Management practice in Poland. How You'll Contribute
- Build up and head a new Business Unit in Poland, growing the team to up to 10 IAM consultants and engineers over the coming 12-month periodTake on the professional and disciplinary leadership of the team: actively participate in recruitment and sourcing, onboarding, mentoring and development careers
- Build up IAM competencies in the team in a targeted way, both by developing existing team members and by specifically recruiting the skills that are still missing
- Take responsibility for budget, timeline, and successful delivery: staffing plans, utilization, forecasts and monthly reporting
- Plan and steer assignments across multiple parallel client engagements, balancing delivery commitments against team capacity, flagging risks early
- Supervise project delivery and report on KPIs against the business plan, working in an agile mode together with an international team
- Support proposal and bid work with realistic effort estimates and staffing concepts
- Stay hands-on in client engagements rather than managing from a distance: support and steer projects across the full IAM lifecycle, from solution assessments and technology scouting to integration, implementation, data migration and operations
- Support the operational run of IAM platforms for our clients, helping the team troubleshoot, maintain and continuously improve solutions already in production
- Work closely with the Düsseldorf project leads and architects: clear handoffs, shared tooling (Jira, Confluence), and transparent status reporting Qualifications

- Completed university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience including prior experience leading and managing a team, ideally within consulting or professional services, and comfortable with a dual mandate of people leadership and active project involvementAn entrepreneurial mindset: genuinely motivated to build a new unit and team from scratch, rather than step into an already-established structure
- Solid commercial project management skills: planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting in a billable, multi-project environment
- Strong stakeholder management skills: able to operate confidently with local team members, international leadership and clients alike
- Strong communication skills in English and Polish
- Willingness to travel occasionally to Germany (mainly Düsseldorf) and to client sites Nice-to-have
- Experience in Identity and Access Management, and familiarity with specific IAM platforms (e.g. One Identity Manager, Okta, Auth0, Keycloak, Oracle, Microsoft Entra ID, SailPoint, Ping Identity)
Experience scaling a team from the ground up, not just managing an established one
Experience working in international or matrix organizationsA solid background in operations; ITIL certification
Project or program management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master)
Awareness of compliance and audit frameworks (e.g. GDPR, SOX, ISO 27001)
