Business Controlling Trainee (Fintech)

Your main responsibilities: Main responsibilities (What you will learn and how you will support us):

Management reporting: Learning to create and prepare monthly reports for management.

Month-end close: Active support of the team in the monthly process of closing and reporting financial results.

Calculation and monitoring of KPIs: Calculating and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) for the financial services area.

Data analysis and recommendations: Investigating variances and their causes. You will learn to draw conclusions based on historical data and propose concrete actions to improve results. Main challenges (What you will face):

Optimization and automation of reporting: You will face the complexity of financial data. We count on your curiosity in searching for new ways to improve efficiency and automate the report generation process.

Working with Big Data, SQL and AI: You will face diverse, large datasets. The challenge will be learning and using SQL queries, statistics and artificial intelligence (AI)-based tools to analyze, verify and handle this data.

Profile of the candidate that we are looking for: Student status or higher education (e.g., Economics, Finance and Accounting, Mathematics, Quantitative Methods, Big Data, Data Analysis or related).

Analytical mind and critical thinking: Data-driven mindset.

Exceptional attention to detail: Meticulousness, accuracy and a sense of aesthetics – key to creating clear and professional management reports.

Continuous appetite for improvement: Proactivity, technological curiosity and a desire to automate repetitive processes.

Modern analyst's toolkit: Willingness to learn (or already possessed knowledge) in the field of Big Data, statistical analysis and SQL.

Basics of finance: Knowledge in the field of financial planning and controlling.
