Your responsibilities

  • Engineering Azure foundation platform solutions using Infrastructure as Code (primarily Terraform), including modular, reusable pattern libraries.
  • Managing Azure connectivity and networking: ExpressRoute, DNS, IP allocation, traffic routing, NSGs, and Azure Firewall.
  • Integrating, configuring, and managing centrally provided cloud services: IAM, networking, monitoring, OS images, and containers.
  • Ensuring compliance with centrally defined security controls and operational risk standards across network, firewall, OS, logging, monitoring, availability, and resiliency.
  • Building and supporting CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices.
  • Implementing patching requirements and supporting non-functional testing (performance, resilience, security).
  • Troubleshooting and resolving platform and pipeline issues, collaborating across teams to restore service and prevent recurrence.
  • Maintaining technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles.

Our requirements

  • Hands-on experience engineering Azure platform services using Terraform (or equivalent IaC), including modular, reusable code.
  • Strong Azure networking experience: ExpressRoute, DNS, routing, NSGs, firewalls, and IP management.
  • Experience integrating enterprise shared services: IAM, monitoring/logging, OS images.
  • Proven capability building and supporting CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices.
  • Working knowledge of security and operational risk controls in regulated environments (logging, monitoring, patching, hardening, resiliency).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across cloud infrastructure, networking, and delivery pipelines.
  • Ability to produce clear technical documentation: designs, runbooks, and operational procedures.

Optional

  • Familiarity with SRE/operational excellence practices: SLIs/SLOs, incident management, post-incident reviews.
  • Experience working with centrally governed cloud standards and control frameworks in large enterprises.
