Senior Systems Administrator (Linux & Windows)

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a skilled and proactive Systems Administrator (Mid-Senior / Senior) to support and maintain a hybrid infrastructure for a 3 to 6-month contract in Gdańsk.

If you have a solid track record in managing Linux and Windows environments, virtualization, security, and backup platforms, this role offers an excellent opportunity to dive straight into a dynamic project.

Project Overview

• Location: Onsite – Gdańsk Wrzeszcz
• Duration: 3–6 months
• Commitment: Full-Time (1.0 FTE)

Languages: English (B2 minimum)

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Management: Administer and maintain Linux distributions and Windows Server environments (2012–2025).

Virtualization & Backups: Manage, configure, and optimize the Proxmox virtualization platform and oversee data protection using Veeam Backup.

Monitoring & Security: Monitor health and performance using Zabbix, and manage threat detection and security solutions via Wazuh.

Identity & Access Management: Administer Active Directory, Certificate Authority (CA) services, and Microsoft Entra ID.

System Availability: Ensure continuous operation, high availability, and stability across all assigned infrastructure services.

Key Requirements

Solid, hands-on experience administering both Linux and Windows Server (2012–2025) environments.

Practical expertise with Proxmox virtualization.

Strong background in system monitoring with Zabbix and security management with Wazuh.

In-depth knowledge of Active Directory, Certificate Authority (CA) services, and Microsoft Entra ID.

Proven experience managing Veeam Backup solutions.

English proficiency at B2 level or higher (written and spoken).

Readiness to work 100% onsite in Gdańsk Wrzeszcz and start as soon as possible.
