What you will do

Role Overview

As a Support Engineer reporting to the AVP – Software Engineering, you'll play a critical role in ensuring seamless client implementations, maintaining production systems, and delivering enhancements that strengthen market integrity and compliance. Key Responsibilities

• Partner with clients to support production and test environments, ensuring system stability and performance.
• Translate client needs into actionable solutions and contribute to ongoing product enhancements.
• Design, develop, and maintain software components and infrastructure to support scalability and efficiency.
• Ensure cross-platform compatibility and optimize system architecture for operational excellence.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across time zones to align on delivery objectives and client outcomes.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven hands-on software engineering experience.
• Strong Linux expertise and experience in DevOps or programming roles.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Java (preferred), Python, Bash, or Shell.
• Clear communicator with experience in client-facing or collaborative, matrixed environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a client-facing or customer support engineering role.
• Background in finance, fintech, or exposure to regulated industries.
• Familiarity with working across global teams and cultural nuances in cross-border collaboration.
