Senior Node.js Developer

Location: Gdynia or remote

What You'll Do:

Tackle High-Traffic Challenges: Work on projects handling massive traffic, including 200M+ HTTP requests and 800M+ messages daily.

Innovate with Cutting-Edge Technologies: Dive into our tech stack featuring Kafka, MongoDB, ClickHouse and Redis.

Build from the Ground Up: Lead greenfield projects with a high degree of autonomy.

Enhance Existing Systems: Design and implement new features, scale our platform, optimize performance, and ensure stability.

Refactor & Improve: Continuously improve our codebase and architecture for better performance and maintainability.

Mentor & Collaborate: Provide in-depth code reviews, pair programming, and support your teammates’ growth.

What We're Looking For:

Must-Have Skills:

Proficient in TypeScript and ES6+Expertise in Node.js and Fastify

Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (including DB design, queries, aggregations, replication, and sharding)

Skilled in Scaling Web Applications: Load balancing, clustering, and optimization

Mentorship Abilities: In-depth code reviews and pair programming

Good Command of English (B2 and above)

Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in backend development

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Knowledge of Microservices and Messaging Systems like RabbitMQ, AMQP, Kafka

Experience with OLAP (e.g. Druid, ClickHouse, Snowflake)

Familiarity with Angular, NestJS, or Express.jsReact Native ExperienceGo or RustDevOps Tools: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
