Senior IT Analyst / Technical Business Analyst (f/m)

We are looking for a Senior IT Analyst / Technical Business Analyst to join an international team working within the banking and payments domain.

This role combines business analysis with a strong technical background. You will be responsible for translating business strategies and stakeholder needs into detailed technical requirements and supporting the entire end-to-end solution delivery process.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document business needs and strategies.

Elicit and document functional and non-functional requirements.

Translate business needs into detailed technical requirements for IT teams.

Work with API, SQL, data mapping and process modelling when defining and validating requirements.

Ensure requirements traceability throughout the end-to-end development process.

Create and maintain requirements documentation, including use cases.

Cooperate with architects, developers, testers, business and legal stakeholders.

Support developers and testers throughout solution delivery.

Verify developed solutions by reviewing and analysing test results.

Provide stakeholders with insights into the effectiveness of implemented solutions.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in IT, system or technical business analysis.

Professional experience as an IT Analyst, System Analyst or Technical Business Analyst.

Experience within the banking and/or payments domain.

Practical experience working with API and analysing interfaces/API contracts.

Good practical knowledge of SQL for data analysis and validation.

Experience with data mapping.

Experience with process modelling.

Strong understanding of functional and non-functional requirements.

Experience working closely with both business and technical teams.

Understanding of the end-to-end solution delivery lifecycle.

Very good command of English.

Nice to have:

Experience working in large, international financial organisations.

Knowledge of SAFe / Agile environments.

Experience with payment systems or payment-related projects.
