Join an international project in the Pharma & Life Sciences sector, focused on developing modern technology solutions supporting processes related to biosample data.

The Portal is a platform that integrates data related to human biosamples from clinical and non-clinical trials, as well as other biosample-related data, including study data, subject data and reference data.

The platform provides FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable) biosample data from both clinical and non-clinical sources.

Supports Pharma Biosample Services by providing enriched and clean data and enabling more efficient data flows. The data is consumed for operational and analytical purposes, supporting business processes such as sample data flow, quality control and data search.

Data extracted and transformed by system is made available to scientists through the Biosample Portal, a visualization tool that enables users to search for biosamples stored across internal and external repositories.

We are looking for an experienced Release Manager to take ownership of the end-to-end software release and deployment process within a complex enterprise IT environment.

You will coordinate Software Engineering, QA, DevOps, Operations, Product Management, and other stakeholders, ensuring that software releases are delivered safely, efficiently, and according to agreed timelines and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Own and manage the Release Management Lifecycle.

Develop and maintain the release plan and release calendar.

Coordinate deployments across Development, Test/UAT, and Production environments.

Consolidate release schedules across multiple products and teams.

Monitor release readiness and coordinate go/no-go decisions.

Manage environment gatekeeping activities.

Identify and manage dependencies between applications, components, and teams.

Coordinate performance, integration, and end-to-end testing.

Work closely with DevOps teams on deployments and CI/CD pipelines.

Manage release-related configuration and documentation.

Identify, track, and escalate release risks and issues.

Coordinate communication between technical and business stakeholders.

Continuously improve the release management process.

Identify opportunities to automate manual release activities.

Support releases involving new features, application upgrades, security patches, and major technology projects.

Requirements:

Professional experience in Release Management, Delivery Management, DevOps, or IT Operations.

Proven experience managing software releases in a complex IT environment.

Strong understanding of CI/CD and software deployment processes.

Good knowledge of DevOps tools and version control systems.

Understanding of Development, Test, UAT, and Production environments.

Experience with dependency and risk management.

Strong organizational and coordination skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to coordinate multiple teams and activities simultaneously.

Very good command of English

Nice to have:

Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Experience with Jira, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar tools.

ITIL knowledge or certification.

PMP or DevOps-related certification.

Experience with release process automation.

Experience working in regulated environments.
