Project Manager – Hadoop / Cloudera Platform Migration

Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate the vendor replacement and platform migration project

• Plan and manage project delivery, including timelines, dependencies, resources and risks
• Manage project budget, financial planning and forecasting
• Monitor project progress and proactively identify and escalate risks, issues and delivery dependencies
• Coordinate project teams and run regular project meetings
• Prepare progress reports and materials for Steering Committee (SteerCo) meetings
• Ensure structured project governance and predictable delivery throughout the project lifecycle Requirements:

Around 7 years of professional experience in Project Management, preferably within large-scale IT transformation, infrastructure or Big Data projects

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in a large-scale Big Data platform migration projectsStrong, practical experience within the Hadoop / Cloudera environment
• Experience managing complex technology transformation or infrastructure projectsStrong knowledge of project planning, risk and issue management
• Experience with budget management and financial forecasting
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including cooperation with senior and executive stakeholders
• Ability to analyse complex project dependencies and translate them into clear actions and delivery plans
