Production / Business Controller

We are conducting a confidential search for an experienced Production Controller / Business Controller / FP& A professional to join an international manufacturing company.

This is a hands-on role combining manufacturing controlling, FP& A and business partnering, with a strong focus on:

• Cost optimization
• Operational improvement
• Digitalization & automation
• Business partnering

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in Manufacturing Controlling
• Strong manufacturing costing, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across local and regional teams
• Strong team player, comfortable with new technologies, automation, AI and systems
• Advanced Excel, Power BI and Power Query skills; strong interest in automation and AI tools, with relevant experience desirable
• ERP experience (SAP or similar)
• Fluent Polish and English; German would be an advantage

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing Cost ControllingMonitor and optimize procurement, material, labor and overhead costs, activity rates, productivity, production efficiency, variances and product costing.
• Order Cost & ProfitabilityRevier order-level costs and margins, analyze actual vs. planned costs, identify deviations and drive cost optimalization.
• Operational Business PartneringProactively support, challenge and influence local operational teams to accelerate performance, improve profitability and drive accountability.
• SCM & Procurement ControllingMonitor and challenge purchasing costs, supplier performance, material price variances, inventory efficiency, supply chain cost optimalization and savings.
• Continuous ImprovementIdentify process inefficiencies, drive productivity improvements and deliver measurable, sustainable cost savings.
• Digitalization & AutomationDrive reporting automation, standardization and process efficiencies using Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate and AI tools.
• Planning & Performance ManagementBudgeting, forecasting, operational KPIs, month-end closing and management reviews.
